Biography

Nicolas joined the DRL in April 2020 as a part-time Research Scholar, after one year as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Université de Sherbrooke where he received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Nicolas’ doctoral research focused on the development of a cooling system for a new type of gas turbine using ceramic blades, and his postdoctoral research focused on developing heat storage solutions for large-scale energy storage systems. At the DRL, Nicolas is involved in the modeling and design of atmospheric water harvesting devices.
