Biography

Carlos graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S in Physics from the University of Costa Rica in 2018. He is interested in energy conversion, storage, and transport technologies that can help mitigate climate change. Carlos’s current research is on the development and analysis of scalable nanostructured interfaces that can lead to enhanced passive heat transfer. This technology can enable thermal management of high power density electronics and efficient transport of heat over long distances.
