Arny graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal in 2015 and with a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2017. He is interested in heat transfer, energy systems, energy efficiency and sustainability. During his Master’s, Arny worked on improving the efficiency of incandescent light bulbs by recycling the waste infrared radiation. As part of his PhD, Arny is currently focusing his research on radiative cooling using thermally insulative and optically selective polyethylene aerogels.
