Lenan Zhang’s work on jumping-droplet size distribution theory selected as an Editor’s pick of Applied Physics Letters
Apr 24, 2019

Congratulations to Lenan Zhang for his work on size distribution theory during the jumping-droplet condensation process. Using a new theoretical model which considers the unique interaction mechanisms between jumping-droplets, Lenan showed the droplet size distribution is analogous to the well-known Fermi-Dirac distribution due to the underlying exclusive property of the droplet removal.
